DIY: Nail Polish (Part 2)

Hey lovelys :)

Last week I did a tutorial about making your own bottles of nail polish.
(Haven't seen it yet? Click here :)

But what if you don't need a whole bottle of the color you make?

Here's a variation that's perfect for making just enough for one mani at a time.

 You will need:
- a small bowl
- tin foil
- clear top coat
- cotton swabs
- eye shadow (powdered or pressed)

Step 1:
Take the foil and cover the top of the bowl.
Press into the center and form the foil
to take the shape of the bowl.
(If it doesn't touch the actual bowl it's okay, all it needs is the shape.)

Step 2:
Scrape or pour the powder into your tin foil bowl.

Step 3:

Pour in the clear polish.
Make sure you add enough for all of the fingers you intend to paint
(don't forget about the possibility of multiple coats)

Step 4:

Mix it with a cotton swab, adding more polish if needed.
Make sure to mix in all the shadow and to get rid of all the clumps.

And then you're done :)
I suggest that you paint your nails immediately after mixing polish,
otherwise it may thicken and be harder to work with.

This is an awesome little trick,
especially when you need a random color that you probably won't use again.
And clean up is a breeze!
Just toss the tin foil and use a cotton swab with polish remover to clean the brush!

Have a great day loves!
See you next time :)
